After a very succesful and spiritual first Meditation
Circle, tonight was an evening dedicated to the power
animals. For me, on 'creating' the space prior to
circle members arriving it was almost as though our
guides had collected there first, and were already
working on protecting the room and us, and helping to
build the energy. The group were eager to start and
it was lovely to see the bonds of friendship
building. After ensuring we were settled, connected
and protected (this is very important during any kind
of spiritual/meditation work) we went to meet our
power animals. It was great hearing which animal
guide was there sharing it's wisdom and healing with
it's 'charge'. Included in our group we are blessed
to have a couple who are Shamanic Healers and we used
their wisdom for interpretation. I had taken to the
evening a deck of Animal Medicine cards, we each drew
a card and the other circle members gave us a message
from that card - again encouraging the use of each
individuals intuition. Also, as an exercise each
member was to choose a crystal (supplied by a very
dear friend of mine and excellent therapist!) and
hand it to a group member of their choosing,
explaining why they felt it appropriate to give it to
that individual. Our resident crystal therapist then
gave the 'professional' overview - it was fabulous to
hear how intuition was in-line with theory! Excellent
work and full marks for effort from a fast developing
circle! After all of this hard work it was time to
eat, drink tea and share experiences, building the
network of friendship. With love, light and a little
